Petr Migunov

Biography

Graduated from the vocal department of St.Petersburg Conservatoire (under the guiding of Prof. V.Lebed). Laureate of International competitions in Tokyo (1997) and Saltsburg (1999). His repertoire includes bass parts in Beethoven's 9th symphony, Requiems of Mozart and Faure, Bach's Magnificat. As member of the Mariinsky opera troupe performed at the "Gergiev - Philips" festival (Rotterdam, 1996). At St.Petersburg Conservatoire Music Theater has sung parts of Mephistopheles ("Faust" by Gounod), Gremin, King Renet ("Eugeni Onegin", "Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky), Inigo ("Spanish hour" by Ravel), Sobakin ("Tsar's bride" by Rimsky-Korsakov) etc. His debut at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center took place in 2000. Gives recitals in Russia and abroad. Soloist of Bolshoi Theatre.
