Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke is one of today‘s most appreciated character tenors. versatile and accomplished in the classical repertoire, his credits as a leading character tenor include performances in leading roles in opera houses such as Opera Bastille, Teatro alla Scala Milano, Staatsoper Berlin, Semperoper Dresden, Bayerische Staatsoper München, Glyndebourne Festival, Monnaie Brussels, Opera Lyon, Nederlandse Opera Amsterdam, Teatro La Fenice Venice and Bregenz Festival.

Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke collaborated with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Philipp Jordan, Kent Nagano, Christian Thielemann, Daniele Gatti, James Conlon, Semyon Bychkov, Antonio Pappano, Vladimir Jurowski and Christoph von Dohnanyi.
