“May the French School be founded on the supremacy of harmony, the coordination of movement, the correctness of positioning, and the disdain for exhibitionist display...” Founded in 1713 by Louis XIV, Paris’s French Dance School seeks to perfect artistic talent according to a strict set of traditions and codes. For three hundred years, the school has continued with this mission, training generations of artists. This celebratory anniversary program includes performances of La Nuit de Walpurgis, Aunis, Péchés de jeunesse, and the premieres of D'ores et déjà and Célébration.
