In June 2019, aged just 22, the astonishingly gifted Alexandre Kantorow became the first French pianist to take home the coveted Grand Prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. A few months off his win heard round the world, he came to Paris’s Fondation Louis Vuitton to perform a recital that amply demonstrated why he deserved one of the most prestigious accolades in classical music.
