About

Artists of the highest renown come to you live with a captivating program from Bamberg, Germany! The incomparable Christoph Eschenbach masterfully leads the Bamberg Symphony in a concert that begins with Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony No. 35. The Maestro is then joined on stage by organist extraordinaire Christian Schmitt, who performs Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ, Strings, and Timpani, a work premiered in 1939 with Maurice Duruflé behind the manuals. French organists also feature in the evening’s spectacular grand finale, the "Organ" Symphony No. 3 by Saint-Saëns.
