Each year, six talented young cellists are admitted to Gautier Capuçon’s Classe d’Excellence, a priceless opportunity to hone their art and refine their skills alongside one of their instrument’s most prestigious names. And what better way to continue down the road to success than jumping into the deep end for a big-stage recital? These future stars dazzle us in a public performance at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, under the guidance of their brilliant mentor!
The Classe d'Excellence de Violoncelle will close with the world premiere of Richard Dubugnon’s composition for 7 cellos entitled Heptasyllables, commissioned by the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
