About

Maestro Daniel Barenboim comes to us live from Berlin in this solo recital, performing a rich program of beloved works by the poet of the piano! A consummate pianist with the refined artistry and glittering virtuosity to do justice to Chopin, Barenboim interprets a selection of favorite Études (including the wrenching "Tristesse," the fiery Op. 10, No. 4, and the lilting "Aeolian Harp"), the soulful and romantic Nocturne in F-sharp, and the passionate apotheosis that is the Ballade No. 1 in G Minor.
