Gábor Takács-Nagy conducts Mozart and Beethoven — With Josef Špaček Verbier Festival 2021

About

Gábor Takács-Nagy and his inimitable smile always shine brightly at the Verbier Festival! This impeccable concert from the Salle des Combins was a highlight of the 2021 edition, with the maestro leading the prestigious Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra alongside the Verbier debut of the fabulously talented violinist Josef Špaček. On the program: Špaček's superb rendition of Mozart's virtuosic Violin Concerto No. 3, as well as Beethoven's mighty Eighth Symphony, structurally innovative and reminiscent of Haydn in the humorous flourishes strewn throughout.
