The marvelous mezzo-soprano is joined by renowned tenor Cyrille Dubois and baritone Christopher Maltman in a performance of this poignant and grandiose work, considered to be one of the most beautiful and original of Berlioz’s compositions, a forerunner to the Wagnerian musical drama.
