At Narbonne’s 9th Annual Festival "Music and History for Intercultural Dialogue" in 2014, artistic director and early music ambassador Jordi Savall and the Concert des Nations performed select masterpieces by some of the most popular French composers of the 17th and 18th centuries (along with a France-inspired pieces by C.P.E. Bach and Telemann thrown in for good measure!). Highlights included Lully’s "Marche pour la cérémonie des turcs", selections from Couperin’s Concerts Royaux, Telemann’s Pariser Quartette, and Rameau’s Fifth Concert from the Pièces de clavecin en concert.
