Two virtuoso guitarists present a program divided into two very eclectic parts. The first part, an audacious arrangement of Bach’s Goldberg Variations, composed for harpsichord and frequently performed on all types of keyboard instruments, reveals with apparent simplicity the incredible flexibility of Bach’s music, whose musical rhetoric transcends the differences between instruments. The second part provides a strong contrast to the Variations with three pieces from another period and in another style by Albéniz and Turina, completing a recital marked by the magical lyricism of this remarkable duo.
