This is how André Previn introduced Martha Argerich's performance of the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3 on the evening of May 3, 1977. The British music director of the London Symphony also added: "she is one of the world's truly great virtuosos."

Just watching this exceptional archival footage of the Argentinian pianist performing this incredibly complex work and moving almost too quickly for the camera proves it:  Martha Argerich is a piano legend for the ages.
