For the week-long festival’s grand finale, Tabea Zimmermann presents the world premiere of Steven Mackey’s reimagining of Hector Berlioz’s beloved concerto-symphony hybrid: Harold in Italy. Mackey, who will be in attendance, depicts Harold in a new light, elaborating on Berlioz’s colorful themes and adding a new cadenza.
