He continues with selections from the evocative Miroirs, and finishes his recital with the suite that may represent Ravel's most enduring and monumental contribution to the solo piano repertoire: Gaspard de la Nuit, extraordinarily challenging and, for pianists like Dalberto who can pull it off, exceptionally rewarding—from the ethereal Ondine to the contemplative Le Gibet and diabolical Scarbo.
