Embark on a musical voyage alongside celebrated classical guitarist Miloš at the Verbier Church in an exciting recital paying tribute to classical Spanish guitar legend Andrés Segovia!
In this concert, Miloš Karadaglić showcases the most important pieces of his musical hero’s repertoire. He begins with Sor’s Variations on a Theme by Mozart—Segovia’s favorite work— then swiftly moves to the timeless Chaconne from Bach’s Partita for Violin in D Minor, perfectly transposed for guitar. He then transports us to Spain with Isaac Albéniz’s Spanish Suite, then to Brazil with Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Five Preludes, composed as a tribute to his motherland. The recital finishes with a recent work by French composer Mathias Duplessy, Amor Fati, which allows Miloš to demonstrate the variety of his guitar repertoire, as well as his incredible talent!
