Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich play Mozart's Concerto For Two Pianos in E-flat Major – With Camerata Salzburg Mozartwoche 2008

About

Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos is without a doubt one of the most popular of the genre: unlike in his Concerto for Three Pianos, he gives the two soloists equal musical importance and the orchestra a very active role to play. As part of the 2008 “Mozart Week” in Salzburg, two great Mozart specialists, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich, performed the Double Concerto with incredible subtlety and synergy, accompanied by the Salzburg Camerata under the baton of Jonathan Nott.
