NEW: The Quatuor Agate performs Apparailly and Brahms Festival Singer-Polignac 2023

About

To open their concert from the 2023 Festival Singer-Polignac in Paris, the Quatuor Agate has chosen an evocative work: Athanor, traité d'alchimie pour quatuor à cordes (Athanor, treatise on alchemy for string quartet), written by talented composer Corentin Apparailly (b. 1994). Like sorcerer's apprentices themselves, the four musicians beguile their audience, leaving us enchanted by an unforgettable performance of Brahms's String Quartet No. 2, Op. 51!
