With Legendary Romanian maestro Sergiu Celibidache, we experience the rebirth of a masterpiece. Here at the helm of the Münchner Philharmoniker, the renowned conductor invites us to follow along as he rehearses Prokofiev's Symphony No. 1, known as "the Classical".

In the first part of this fascinating archive, we discover a rehearsal with the world-class ensemble, followed by the “run-through” test, where the orchestra applies tweaks from previous exercises into a full performance under concert conditions. Prokofiev’s first sparkling symphony is inspired by Mozart's lighthearted writing, offering us a unique stylistic fusion bearing the stamp of the Russian genius.
