In this documentary by Vincent Paterson, Anna Netrebko brings five legendary opera characters to life as part of a truly original staging.  Her performances are interwoven with a series of lively interviews in which the singer reflects on her childhood, education, career, and more.

If anyone still doubts Anna Netrebko's talents, her portrayals of Mozart’s Donna Anna, Bellini’s Amina, Gounod’s Marguerite, Dvořák's Rusalka, and Puccini’s Musetta should put those doubts to rest. This documentary constructs a modern and authentic film portrait of the woman many consider to be the greatest soprano on today's stages.
