About

The story of The Bel Air Festival told by its artistic director, the great violonist Renaud Capuçon.

Founded by the French violinist Renaud Capuçon, the Bel-Air Festival gathers each year in a friendly atmosphere, the big names of classical music but also gives a chance to young musicians. At the same time artistic director and performer, Renaud Capuçon succeeds with this festival to play music with friends and share his passion for music to the audience.

Since 1994, between five and seven concerts, exhibitions and courses take place in Bel-Air every year, culminating in a Major musical event at the end of August. A Major festival in the music calendar, the "Rencontres de Musique de Chambre de Bel-Air" has hosted since their creation the greatest musicians of the past 20 years, including Martha Argerich, Frank Braley, Stephen Kovacevich, Natalie Dessay and Jean-Yves Thibaudet – to name but a few.
