Roger Norrington, who is known for his masterful interpretations on original instruments, accepts the challenge of Richard Wagner with a professional carefree nature.

He dusts off the late Romantic composer, removing all the kitsch and, together with the radio Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart, he uses the overtures of Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Tristan und Isolde and Parsifal to demonstrate Wagner's playful elegance.
