In his 40-year career, Marcus Miller has established himself as one of the most influential jazz musicians of his generation—an artist with an instantly-recognizable sound, a technical innovator who has left his mark on generations of bassists to come, and a beloved collaborator who has shared the stage with the likes of Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, Brian Ferry, and Luther Vandross.

This unique concert, live at Jazz à la Villette 2019, is the retrospective of a brilliant and diverse career that has led Miller through a variety of instruments (on a number of which he's considered to be a veritable virtuoso), styles (from traditional jazz to R&B to Gospel), and continents (including of course musical explorations of his African and Carribean origins).
