A distinguished violin teacher, Ana Chumachenco reveals her pedagogy, teaching Mozart's concertos for violin.
Ana Chumachenco is internationally considered one of the foremost violin teachers. Her father, a student of the great Leopold Auer, encouraged her at the age of four to play the piano, and gave her himself her first lessons. At 18, she was awarded the gold medal at the Carl Fleisch competition in London. Yehudi Menuhin, Joseph Sigeti and Sandor Vegh were among her mentors at that time. Not only an excellent violinist passionate about chamber music, she is also very keen on teaching.
