Renowned Chinese violinist Vera Tsu Wei-Ling works with Natan Tishin on Mozart's Violin Sonata No. 27 at a master class at Villa Sandra Lesa.
According to Mozart, his Violin Sonata in G Major, K 379 (composed for the leader of the Salzburg orchestra, Antonio Brunetti) was composed in a single hour in April of 1781. Soon afterward he and Brunetti premiered the sonata, with Mozart playing the piano part out of his head because he lacked the time to write it out! Whatever the difficulty of the circumstances, the work is recognized as one of the Austrian composer's most beautiful and imaginative works.
