A teacher in Munich and former solo double bassist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Nabil Shehata works with student Iker Sánchez on orchestral excerpts for double bass from Beethoven's Symphonies Nos. 2 and 9 and Mozart's Symphony No. 40. These challenging passages include some of the most recognizable themes from these symphonic masterpieces and are prepared by bassists the world over for auditions.
