Adam Ben Ezra demonstrates his lively ‘multi-instrumentalism’ in this exceptional concert at the Moods club in 2019. He originally made his name performing in jazz clubs, then in 2008 as a multi-instrumentalist, he covered the theme song to the TV show Seinfeld which brought large success that helped him secure a record deal with CandyRat Records. His performance here emotes an ambiance filled with Spanish and Eastern influences in a pure and fascinating offering, through his sensitive and precise playing.
His unique style is inspired by a number of genres ranging from Arabian and Iberian culture, to jazz-fusion and even classical music. Ezra says himself that he is equally inspired by the music of Bach and Debussy as much as he is by the music of Chick Correa, Jack Pistorius and flamenco. As well as this comprehension of many musical cultures, he is gifted with a mastery of a number of instruments including double bass, piano, clarinet, and even a baroque instrument, the oud. All of these influences and competences leave his music ringing in our ears.
