During the Jazzahead Festival 2018, the poetic beauty of Nippon jazz is brought to life in all its splendor in Shinya Fukumori Trio’s concert. The three instrumentalists create a remarkable and mysterious musical aura.

Shinya Fukumori left his home country, Japan, at 17 to pursue his studies at the Berklee College of Music. His first trio album was released in 2018 by the prestigious German label ECM. Alongside him are saxophonist Matthieu Bordenave and pianist Walter Lang, combining technical precision with stunning sensitivity, and creating a calm, soothing performance.
