The smaller of the Aspen Music Festival and School's two student orchestras, the Aspen Chamber Symphony is composed of some of the festival's most gifted young artists who perform a wide variety of eclectic, challenging repertoire alongside Aspen's biggest names. One of the highlights of our coverage of the festival's 75th anniversary edition is a piquant and poignant Latin-flavored program conducted by Robert Spano and featuring Falla's El amor brujo and Noches en los jardines de España with renowned pianist Joyce Yang, as well as mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor's breathtaking interpretation of Lieberson's Neruda Songs. Learn about how everything comes together for an unforgettable evening like this through interviews with Spano, Yang, and some of the ACS's talented and passionate young artists!
