"The discovery of a great violin is a bit like finding the right partner," says Joshua Bell about his 1713 Stradivari, which he calls the ideal, perfect instrument.
A regular guest of the Verbier Festival, Joshua Bell says: "I think it is my tenth time here in the the last eleven years, so basically this is one of the few places that I make a point of coming, every summer if I can, and I always look forward to coming here! It is a great atmosphere clearly, musically and geographically. I am sad I have to go home in a couple of days."
Joshua Bell answers the questions of his fans: What is your favourite thing about being here? What would you do if you could create your instrument? How do you find your change from soloist to music director? What was your nickname when growing up?
