Vincent Peirani is full of surprises—an artist who truly "breaks new ground for his instrument”, according to The Observer. While trained in the worlds of classical music and French song, the accordionist is a regular at the D'Jazz Nevers festival, where he's appeared solo, in ensembles alongside Daniel Humair or Michel Portal, and even barefoot. In this live performance at the 2018 edition of the festival, he's joined by regular collaborators Julien Herné (bass), Tony Paelemen (keyboard), Yoann Serra (drums), and Émile Parisien (saxophone) to perform tracks from his latest project, "Living Being", a genre-defying album that pulls the best from a variety of stylistic influences, seamlessly blending the spontaneity and poetry of jazz with the raw, electric energy of rock.
