About

The Ensemble intercontemporain, founded by Pierre Boulez in 1976 and composed today of 31 exceptional soloists under the direction of Pierre Bleuse, performs a beautifully chosen program at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, including the world premiere of a piece specially commissioned by them! Joined by Geoffroy Jourdain and his exquisite vocal ensemble Les Cris de Paris, the EIC celebrates the work of legendary artist Mark Rothko, who sought to "raise painting to the level of poignancy of music and poetry."
