Biography

Initially trained as a bassoonist, he was the student of Charles Bruck at the Pierre Monteux Memorial School (USA). At the age of 20, he formed Les Musiciens du Louvre, with whom he distinguished himself as a performer of French baroque music and of Monteverdi, Handel, Mozart and Beethoven. From 2004 to 2006, he was associated with the Opéra de Paris where he conducted the Magic Flute, Iphigeneia in Tauris and Plataea.
