About

Daniel Barenboim, pianist, conductor, has been since the beginning of the 60s one of the most important artists on the classical music stage. A regular of the most prestigious venues and orchestras, he conducts in this programme the Berliner Philharmoniker at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, of which he has been the music director since 1992. Set in beautiful stage, the orchestra performs milestones of the 19th century, Beethoven's Eighth Symphony (1814), Wagner's famous Ride of the Walküre, Schumann's Concerto for four horns and Liszt's Les Préludes.
