Maxim Vengerov: Playing by Heart A documentary on the violin virtuoso

About

This documentary profiles Maxim Vengerov, following him in his work side by side with Daniel Barenboim and the students of London's Royal Academy, and providing a glimpse at another facet of the famed violin prodigy, off the stage and removed from his work.

The virtuoso Russian-Israeli violinist is a key player on the international stage: winner of numerous international prizes, he performs regularly in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. The violinist with the "psychopathic" bow, believes that his music can have a big impact on others, a belief that has motivated him to become a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for music.
