Performing at The Moods Jazz Club in Zurich, meet vocalist Elina Duri, accompanied by Rob Luft on guitar and Fred Thomas on drums and piano. Hailing from Switzerland with Albanian roots, Duni’s musical repertoire touches on jazz, folk, and global influences, with a captivating and emotive vocal style. Duni's performances are marked by both technicality and deep passion, singing in English, French, Albanian and other languages. Her powerful, clear voice is mesmerizing, singing simple melodies that ring out on top of the accompanying instruments.  This performance, showcasing the group’s new album, entitled Lost Ships, features works ranging from timeless jazz ballads and French chansons to Irish-American folk. Through the performance of what Duni calls “Crisis Songs”, the musicians are able to bring the world issues that inspired their compositions to the listener’s attention in a powerful way.
