Hungarian violinist and professor at London's Royal Academy of Music Gyorgy Pauk works with Gennaro Cardaropoli on Mozart's Violin Sonata No. 21.
Mozart's Violin Sonata No. 21 was written in 1778, and dates to the same period when Mozart's mother died. The trauma and tragedy of this event left their marks on the work: his only instrumental composition in E minor, the work has a hauntingly tragic character, with a solemn opening movement and nostalgic minuet-style finale.
